A VISION INSPIRED BY THE VIEW...
The year was 1990 when Kuwait was invaded by Saddam. We were in Thailand, travelling southward from Bangkok to Golok, when inspiration stuck at the seaside resort city of Hua Hin.
Hua Hin is a popular weekend getaway for Bangkok residents. This gem is about 1.5 hours from Bangkok; just like from Shenton Way in Singapore to Sedili in Malaysia.
We played with our imagination. The idea of creating an idyllic getaway spot in Sedili was hatched.
We started assembling 6 lots to form a 20 acres land to erect a few cottages. Tanjung Sutera Resort was born.
Today, we have grown the cottages to 30 rooms.
The hill that we perched our resort on commands a picturesque view of the scenic and tranquil South China Sea. It's such a spiritually energized spot that it brings the mind into another prism of a different dimension out of this world.
We are pleased to have welcome and served thousands of guests to Tanjung Sutera Resort all these years, many of whom return times and again for meditational and inner content visits.
